Course Description
As the need for cutting edge, professionally-designed interactive media grows, qualified Graphic Designers are increasingly in demand. II. Module Two - Diving Into Design
a. Evaluating a design as a whole as well as seeing the individual elements

c. Going into depth on layout and on the vast subject of color
d. Drawing/painting, Photo manipulation, color channels in Photosho
e. Color in print vs. color on the web
III. Module Three - Finishing the Job
a. Working with illustrators and photographers
b. Prepping files for print and production
c. The Web
d. Filters and patterns, Vector graphics, Web tools in Photoshop
e. Developing a project and working within constraints

The intended audience for this program is individuals who have little or no background in Graphic Design but who want to take their interests to a level that would qualify them for a job in the field. |
| Requirements/Materials Included | Students will need to have Photoshop CS3 (Mac or Windows) already installed. Students will also need access to the Internet (a high speed connection is recommended) and emailing capabilities. This course can be taken on a PC or a Mac. Two textbooks are provided and will be sent to each student:
